Cinesthesia: Sleep Perchance to Scream

Jim, Jason, and Jason’s dad channel the spirit of Halloween to ward off evil brain surgeons and the A-list cast of The Black Sleep

The next chapter of Cinesthesia is still being written in the book of life, but in the meantime join our boys for a quick interlude from the book of death — a bonus quickie devoted entirely to a short, strange spookshow from 1956 called The Black Sleep, with Basil “Bone Wrath” Rathbone, Lon “Rattle Chain” Chaney Jr., Bela “Bela Lugosi” Lugosi, John “Rotted Spleen” Carradine, and Tor “Tore Up” Johnson, and more! It’s a Halloween party and you’re invited, so put on your best shock frock and glide on into our gothic castle for some tricks and treats, and also some illicit brain surgery, as we explore the netherworld between classic Hollywood horror and drive-in exploitation trash. Featuring Jason’s dad, because why not? HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
