The Best of the 2010s in Film

To celebrate the end of the 2010s — a decade in which cinema went through many formal, social and technological revolutions — Split Tooth Media will be presenting a series throughout the beginning of 2020 to commemorate the films and filmmakers that moved and inspired our staff over the past 10 years

We won’t waste your time with grand statements about the current state of the movies or hopes of where we are heading. Let’s avoid the broad strokes and dig in to the particulars. Our staff and the films they chose to write about will do the talking on their own terms. We are proud to share essays, interviews and podcasts from a variety of contributors from across the country on modern independent classics that you may have missed, recent developments to familiar genres and a variety of international milestones that have challenged us personally while pushing the boundaries of the medium.

So, without further ado, we are proud to present: Split Tooth Media’s Best of the 2010s in Film. This list will be updated with every published post.
