Hell to the King Pt. 6: ‘Children of the Corn’ (1984)

Outlander, we have a special Hell for you today

Fritz Kiersch directs a rare Stephen King film to take place outside of New England; A child preacher convinces children to murder all of the adults in town; A 30-year old man acts as a child in a clumsily plotted cult classic and the Cinesthesia boys explore the bare-bone truth involved in King lore. Jim and Jason also spend a full fifteen minutes doing everything they can to avoid actually having to talk about The Children of the Corn, a movie worth watching while cutting 35 potatoes.

Join a filmmaker (and sometimes film teacher) and a film teacher (and sometimes filmmaker) as they venture into the dark heart of their own befuddled relationship to culture, the youth, the internet, friendship, love, hate, time, space and, of course: *m*o*v*i*e*s*. Come hear what we see.
